Title: Dragons & Damsels: the Fascinating Lives of Dragonflies
Dragonflies (including the damselflies) are big, bold insects, easy to watch and enjoy. Dr. Rob Cannings uses colourful photographs to illustrate their amazing lives - the diversity of their structure, the life of larvae underwater and the behaviour of the flying adults. Learn about the dragonflies that live around Prince George. Rob gives a summary of an extensive museum survey of dragonflies undertaken around BC in the past decade, and discusses dragonfly conservation.
