- Reading: Far West: The Story of British Columbia by Daniel Francis is a wonderful introduction to BC history, written in easy to understand language for students in Grades 4-9. Two copies and a teacher's guide will be available in your school library by winter 2008. The online book is available at the publisher's website here.
